Kevin McGibben
CEO

Kevin brings strong global experience in market strategy and channel implementation. He previously founded 32 South to assist mobile and new-media technology companies in strategically expanding into international markets. Kevin also founded firms in the VOIP, consumer products and Web 2.0 industries. His experience includes international marketing, channel development and general management positions with technology companies Fujistu, TEKELEC and CIDCO. 

Steve Francis
Founder & Chief Product Officer

Steve has been in the IT industry for over 20 years, and has both operational and management experience in several companies that experienced rapid growth. He even obtained a CCIE back in the days when it was a multi-day exam. Having been responsible for data center operations for organizations as diverse as National Geographic, the University of California, Citrix Online and Valueclick, he brings a wealth of real world knowledge about effective data center monitoring. 

Jie Song
Chief Technology Officer

A brilliant engineer and engineering manager, Jie has a Masters degree in Electronic and Mechanical Engineering from China’s prestigious Xi’an Jiaotong University  as well as a Masters in Computer Science from UCSB.  A LogicMonitor founder, Jie was previously a developer at VMWare and Citrix, and consistently inspires product development.

Randy Potts
SVP Sales

Prior to LogicMonitor, Randy spent 14 years as VP of Sales at Spredfast, Convio and Careerbuilder where he focused on building those SaaS sales teams into a dominant force in their respective industries.  His team’s consistent performances against sales targets contributed to successful IPOs at both Convio and Careerbuilder.

Prior to CareerBuilder, he spent 11 years in sales and sales management roles with IBM, Legent and Platinum Technologies — all providers of IT systems software and services, working both domestically and internationally.

Jeff Behl
Chief Network Architect

Jeff began his career at UC Santa Barbara, where he took on roles ranging from managing technical operations at Instructional Computing to working in the Network Operations Center that oversees the campus network backbone. Since UCSB, he has overseen enterprise networks and infrastructure at SeeBeyond (now Sun/Oracle), Citrix Online (formerly Expertcity) and Fastclick/Valueclick.  He has designed and supported all aspects of enterprise infrastructure, from building out datacenters to failover planning to network/system security.

Ed Shaughnessy
Vice President of Finance and Corporate Development

Ed Shaughnessy spent 11 years at Intel, most recently as the Director of Strategic Business Development. Shaughnessy supported Intel’s Data Center Group, playing a lead role in the execution of the software giant’s M&A activities, including the $7.7 billion purchase of McAfee.

Joshua Wold
Vice President of Marketing and Customer Development

As Vice President of Marketing and Customer Development, Joshua Wold sees a tremendous opportunity to disrupt old-school IT.  “I’ve seen how businesses can shake up markets with incredible products and self-service models, while bucking norms,” says Wold.  “We are excited to shake up the IT monitoring world in the same fashion with LogicMonitor.”

Prior to LogicMonitor, Wold spent six years at Atlassian, most recently as the Director of Enterprise Business.
