A Well Rounded Life

Throughout life, we all experience a variety of personal and work-related challenges. Not all of these challenges will fall within the scope of things that are covered by normal benefits offered through your employer.

For example, 63% of all Americans will seek financial planning advice, but many don’t know where to go to find help or how much it will cost. And over a third of Americans who seek professional counseling encounter barriers, such as financial constraints, that make it difficult or even prevent them from going to these services. So where do we turn to for help?

LogicMonitor goes beyond the basic benefits. Here are three major programs that LogicMonitor offers to support a well-rounded life for our employees: our Employee Assistance Program, the LM Cares Program, and Women@LogicMonitor.

Employee Assistance Program

The first program, our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), gives employees access to resources, information, and counseling services that are entirely free and fully confidential. You can find information and resources on a variety of topics ranging from financial and legal advice to marital or grief counseling services. This includes four free face-to-face counseling sessions per year that are confidential, and LogicMonitor even takes care of the billing and claims forms to eliminate that stress for employees.

The EAP can help employees in a variety of ways outside of the office, leaving you with more time for the things that matter, and with the people that matter to you.

LM Cares

The second program is our employee resource group: LM Cares. This is our company-wide volunteering initiative and was created to give employees an outlet to give back to the community while spending time together outside of the office. We recently partnered with the Austin FoodBank on April 16th where we organized food at the FoodBank warehouse. The Austin FoodBank distributes 45 million pounds of food annually, and we were very proud to contribute to that number.

Women@LogicMonitor

The third program is our employee resource group: Women@LogicMonitor. We want to ensure that every person at the company feels supported and included, the group’s mission is to drive conversations and initiatives around inclusion in tech companies and within LogicMonitor specifically. From mentorship programs to help build out our diverse leadership pipeline to our recent company fireside chat “Building Inclusion in Technical Teams”, we are running a number of initiatives to make LogicMonitor a better company for everyone.

At LogicMonitor, we strive to provide a holistic view of health, including physical, emotional, mental, and altruistic support for our employees and their families. To achieve that goal, we have created these three highlighted programs that encourage holistic wellness among all employees and their loved ones.

To come meet our community and speak with our team members about life at LogicMonitor, we welcome you to attend our monthly Hub and Spoke events. These informal networking events will be hosted on July 18th in our Austin, Tx office, and on August 14th in our Santa Barbara, Ca office. We hope to see you there!
