This past year we’ve been hard at work building LM Logs to help ITOps and DevOps teams troubleshoot more efficiently. Today we are happy to announce that LM Logs is generally available!
LM Logs is an intelligent log monitoring solution that analyzes 100% of log data and surfaces it contextually with metrics and alerts for faster troubleshooting. With LM Logs, all logs are centrally displayed within LogicMonitor’s new Logs page, and anomaly detection is used to identify and flag (in purple) potentially meaningful log events (i.e. anomalies).
Reviewing these anomalous log events (which can be isolated with a simple click of the ‘Raw Logs’ filter) is a fast and easy way to look at the unusual changes in your environment, and proactively identify issues across your monitored infrastructure.
These anomalous events are also displayed directly in the context of related LogicMonitor metric alerts for more streamlined troubleshooting. With LM Logs, there’s no more context switching, and no need to manually search through thousands of log lines at 3 AM — information needed to troubleshoot effectively is surfaced automatically and displayed all in one view so you can resolve issues more quickly.
Getting started is simple: LM Logs ships with a number of out of the box integrations that make it easy to send logs from any infrastructure or applications — no matter where they are running.
We’re super excited about the value LM Logs brings to ITOps and DevOps teams — our early beta customers saw the benefits almost immediately. “LM Logs has made troubleshooting our Kubernetes deployments much more efficient by giving us access to all the log data we need without spending hours in a command line,” said Eric Wisted, Support Engineer at Netgain.
The best part is that this is just the beginning! The LogicMonitor team is already hard at work on new features and enhancements to take LM Logs to the next level, so stay tuned for more.
