SANTA BARBARA, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–LogicMonitor, the leading automated IT infrastructure monitoring platform, today announced the release of its new Network Traffic Flow Analysis (formerly known as Netflow monitoring) capabilities in conjunction with the release of a new LogicMonitor UI. The new Network Traffic Flow allows IT Ops professionals to determine exactly where their network traffic comes from so they may proactively manage challenging network conditions including congestion and over consumption of network resources. Network Traffic Flow Analysis is for NetFlow, Jflow, and Sflow protocols.
LogicMonitor customers use Network Traffic Flow Analysis to view network information like top flows to and from infrastructure devices, top endpoints, top applications, and bandwidth data. They use this data for important tasks such as throughput analysis, pinpointing network issues and even to helping to detect DDoS attacks. With LogicMonitor’s recently unveiled new User Interface (UI), network administrators have a greater ability to search, view, and filter ports as well as drill into the ports that match established filters.
Enhanced Network Traffic Flow Analysis features include ability to:
-Extract DNS info graphically based on traffic source
-Drill into the port data based on established filters
-Easily view flow data from highest use devices, and easily access further granularity into busy device metrics
-Consume network flow data in beautiful, graphical widgets such as pie charts and time series graphs
“We listened to customer requests and are excited to deliver a highly valuable Network Traffic Flow Analysis in our beautiful new LogicMonitor UI,” stated Steve Francis, LogicMonitor’s Founder and Chief Product Officer. “Now IT Ops teams are armed with the data to optimize their network performance and protect themselves from attacks — all from the convenience of the same LogicMonitor platform. We believe these recent enhancements create another opportunity for customers to further consolidate their monitoring tools using LogicMonitor.”
