The new Network Traffic Flow allows IT Ops professionals to determine exactly where their network traffic comes from so they may proactively manage challenging network conditions including congestion and over consumption of network resources. Network Traffic Flow Analysis is for NetFlow, Jflow, and Sflow protocols.
LogicMonitor customers use Network Traffic Flow Analysis to view network information like top flows to and from infrastructure devices, top endpoints, top applications, and bandwidth data. They use this data for important tasks such as throughput analysis, pinpointing network issues and even to helping to detect DDoS attacks. With LogicMonitor’s recently unveiled new User Interface (UI), network administrators have a greater ability to search, view, and filter ports as well as drill into the ports that match established filters.
Enhanced Network Traffic Flow Analysis features include ability to:
-Extract DNS info graphically based on traffic source
-Drill into the port data based on established filters
-Easily view flow data from highest use devices, and easily access further granularity into busy device metrics
-Consume network flow data in beautiful, graphical widgets such as pie charts and time series graphs
