For datasource LogicModules, the Graphs Tab will display for datasources and instances selected from the device tree, and includes all graphs associated with the datasource definition. There are two types of datasource graphs, overview, and instance graphs. Note that if no graphs are defined in the datasource definition, a Graphs Tab will not appear.
If overview graphs are defined for a datasource, they will display on the Graphs tab when you select that datasource from the device tree. Overview graphs provide the top 10 instances of the datasource per the datapoint configured in the overview graph definition.
Selecting a specific instance will display instance graphs. Instance graphs are typically related to Overview graphs, but are more detailed as they are specific to the performance of the single instance.
The time range for the displayed graphs can be changed globally with the Time Range button in the upper right toolbar.
Editing datasource graphs
Graphs are created as part of the datasource configuration process. You can edit the graph definition for both overview graphs and instance graphs by selecting the drop down arrow on the graph and selecting Graph definition.
Note: Any changes made to a datasource graph will impact the graph across all instances of that datasource.
Adding a graph to a dashboard
Select Add to dashboard and assign a name for the widget. You can add the widget to one or many dashboards by selecting them in the Add to dashboard dialog.
Selecting Forecast enables you to use LogicMonitor's Forecasting technology to predict future trends for your datasource graphs.
Expanded Graph View
Clicking the two headed arrow will expand the graph view. This provides the option to view the data associated with the graph.
All standard widget management functions are available, including isolate mode, auto zoom, and legend toggles.
