This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the guidelines and rules when utilizing our generative AI chatbot.  This policy is designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive environment for all users. By using our AI chatbot, you agree to abide by these guidelines.

What You Should Avoid

This section outlines the types of inputs and behaviors that are prohibited to ensure a safe and respectful environment. This includes avoiding creating content that infringes on intellectual property (for example a copyright), uploading personal data or sensitive information, illegal and harmful content, misleading information, and security threats. 

• Intellectual Property Infringement: Do not use the AI to generate content that violates someone else’s intellectual property rights. This includes copying or closely mimicking copyrighted materials without permission.
• Sensitive Information: Avoid inputting or requesting personal or sensitive personal information, such as financial details, user information, health-related data, or other private data, to protect privacy and comply with data protection laws.
• Illegal and Harmful Content: Do not use the AI to create or promote content related to illegal activities, violence, hate speech, or discrimination.
• Misleading Information: Refrain from generating false or deceptive content that could mislead or harm others.
• Security Threats: Do not introduce or attempt to introduce malware, viruses, keyloggers, ransomware, or any harmful code that could compromise the security of our system or users, or reveal proprietary training data of LogicMonitor.

Prohibited Input(s)

This section outlines the types of text that are prohibited from being inputted into the textbox of our AI chatbot, including copyrighted material, personal information, hate speech, illegal activity, explicit content, misinformation, and malicious code.

• Copyrighted Material: Text from copyrighted books, articles, songs, online documentation, code repositories or other media without permission.
• Personal Information: Names, addresses, phone numbers, health-related data, social security or tax identification numbers, or any other personally identifiable information.
• Hate Speech: Content promoting hate, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on certain characteristics.
• Illegal Activity: Text that encourages or promotes illegal activities, such as drug use, hacking, or other criminal behavior.
• Explicit Content: Graphic violence, pornography, or other adult content.
• Misinformation: Deliberately false or misleading information, such as impersonation of another individual, or organization.
• Malicious Code: Text that includes or suggests malware, viruses, or harmful software.

Accuracy

LogicMonitor cannot guarantee or warrant the accuracy of any generative AI output. While we are consistently working to improve the accuracy and quality of the content that is generated by our AI-based features, the use of our service may result in content that does not accurately reflect real people, places, or facts. 

When you use our AI-based features, you understand and agree that:

• The content may not always be accurate. You should not rely on the content produced as the sole source of truth or factual information, or as a substitute for support and professional advice. 
• You must evaluate the content for appropriateness and accuracy for your use case before sharing out content. 
• Our content may provide incomplete or inaccurate information that does not represent LogicMonitor’s views. If the content generated references any third party products or services, it does not mean that we endorse or are affiliated with these third parties. 

Compliance and Enforcement

We reserve the right to suspend access to our generative AI chatbot at any time if we determine, in good faith, that you have breached our usage policies or if the use of our service could risk or harm LogicMonitor, our users, or anyone else. We reserve the right to update this policy as needed to address emerging issues and maintain a safe environment.
