LogicMonitor Customer Education provides a growing portfolio of role-based certifications and micro-credentials aligning with LM Envision’s innovative infrastructure monitoring platform. LogicMonitor Certified Associate (LMCA)

The LMCA is the introductory and foundational certification for new users of LogicMonitor. This program presents LogicMonitor from both a conceptual and practical point of view. It is designed for end-users and covers basic concepts, usage, and best practices. It does not cover initial setup, configuration, or administrative tasks.

LogicMonitor Certified Professional (LMCP)

The LMCP builds on the LMCA, and is designed for LogicMonitor Administrators and advanced users. This course covers the initial setup, configuration, and administrative tasks of a LogicMonitor portal. Included are best practices for deploying and maintaining the LogicMonitor solution.

LM Academy

Upskill your team with access to LM Academy, our hub for all things learning in LM Envision. Through their LM Envision portal, all users can access a robust library of product training, best practices, OnDemand learning, and more. Simple Effective Event Log and Resource Monitoring/Alerting tool

LogicMonitor is used by our organization to actively monitor servers and cloud infrastructure for both events and resource utilization. Our main objective is to use the tool to detect and alert IT staff of anomalies or other potential downtime that could impact our customers and employees. LogicMonitor is currently deployed to key infrastructures such as VM hosts, domain controllers, critical servers, and Azure resources such as VMs, Frontdoor, Kubernetes, etc.

Using LogicMonitor as a Non-MSP

LogicMonitor’s licensing is per device instead of SolarWinds per interface. This means a switch only needs one license compared to SolarWinds licensing per port on the switch. SolarWind’s GUI is old and not very intuitive to new users. Setting up users in LogicMonitor is super easy and the use of roles makes managing permissions simple.
