Azure Cost by Tag Monitoring

You can configure the Microsoft_Azure_BillingCostByTag DataSource to monitor cost based on tags in your Azure account.

Monitoring Azure Cost by Tag

1. Navigate to Modules > My Module Toolbox.
2. Locate the Microsoft_Azure_BillingCostByTag DataSource and click Edit. For more information, see Modules Overview.
3. On the DataSource page, select Active Discovery.
4. In the Azure Billing Category field, enter a tag key for the cost that you want to track. For example, if you enter environment, the DataSource discovers all values of the tag key environment and tracks the associated costs.
