Billing and Usage Calculations for Wireless Access Points
Wireless Access Points provides enhanced visibility into wireless infrastructure by monitoring the health and performance of supported wireless access points, cameras, and IoT sensors. Billing is based on the monthly average of monitored resources during the selected billing period.
The following table describes which resources are included and how usage is calculated for billing:
| Usage Element | Description | How it Affects Billing |
| Wireless Access Point Resource | A supported access point, camera, or IoT sensor actively monitored in LogicMonitor | Each monitored resource counts as one unit toward usage |
| Supported Access Points | Cisco Catalyst Center-managed, Cisco Meraki, Extreme Networks, HPE Aruba Networking Central-managed (AOS-10), Juniper Mist, Ubiquiti UniFi | Included in the monthly average count |
| Supported Cameras | Cisco Meraki MV cameras | Included in the monthly average count |
| Supported IoT Sensors | Cisco Meraki MT sensors (Power, Automation, Temperature, Air Quality, and related sensors) | Included in the monthly average count |
| Daily Resource Count | Total number of monitored Wireless Access Point resources on a given day | Used to calculate the monthly average |
| Monthly Average | Average of the daily monitored resource counts for the selected month | Used for billing |
Note: Billing reflects the average number of monitored Wireless Access Point resources over the course of the month. Adding or removing supported resources during the month affects the daily counts and may change the monthly average used for billing.
