You can leverage Usage Reporting to view the usage metrics for monitored wireless access points directly in the LogicMonitor portal. Wireless access points monitoring is part of LogicMonitor’s cloud monitoring solution, and the usage metrics display the monthly average count of your monitored wireless access points.

Billing and Usage Calculations for Wireless Access Points

Wireless Access Points provides enhanced visibility into wireless infrastructure by monitoring the health and performance of supported wireless access points, cameras, and IoT sensors. Billing is based on the monthly average of monitored resources during the selected billing period.

The following table describes which resources are included and how usage is calculated for billing:

Note: Billing reflects the average number of monitored Wireless Access Point resources over the course of the month. Adding or removing supported resources during the month affects the daily counts and may change the monthly average used for billing.

Requirements for Viewing Usage Data for Wireless Access Points

To view usage data for wireless access points in Usage Reporting, you must subscribe to wireless access points monitoring.

Viewing Usage Data for Wireless Access Points

  1. Navigate to Settings > Usage.
  2. Select “Wireless Access Points” from the Product dropdown menu.
  3. To interact with the Usage Contributors table, select “All Child Accounts” from the Contributor Type dropdown menu.

  2. To view usage metrics for a specific date, hover over that date in the bar graph
