Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Monitoring

LogicMonitor provides support for monitoring Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI.) LogicMonitor enables you to optimize your OCI environment by enhancing visibility of compute metrics, block and boot volume, object storage, and autonomous databases.

Requirements for Monitoring OCI

To monitor OCI, you must install all OCI LogicModules from the LogicMonitor Module Exchange. If all OCI modules are already present, ensure the modules are using the most recent version.

OCI LogicModules in Package

LogicMonitor’s packages for OCI consists of the following LogicModules. For full coverage, import all of the following LogicModules into your LogicMonitor platform:

Compute

Name	Type	Description	Supported Metrics
OCI_Compute	DataSource	Gathers OCI Compute metrics.	If Oracle Cloud Agent is enabled on each monitored OCI instance, all compute metrics are supported. For more information, see Compute Instance Metrics and Oracle Cloud Agent from OCI. If Oracle Cloud Agent is enabled on some or no instances, only CPU Utilization (from Hypervisor) are supported. For more information, see Agentless Compute Metrics from OCI.

Block Storage

OCI_BlockStorage	DataSource	Gathers block volume and boot volume metrics.	All block storage metrics are supported. For more information, see Block Volume Metrics from OCI.
OCI_BlockStorage_Replica	DataSource	Gathers block volume and boot volume metrics.	All block storage metrics are supported. For more information, see Block Volume Metrics from OCI.
OCI_BlockStorage_ReplicationEnabled	DataSource	Gathers metrics for block volumes and boot volumes if cross region replication is enabled.	All block storage metrics are supported. For more information, see Block Volume Metrics from OCI.

Object Storage
