Cloud Operations Provider Health displays public health events within cloud environments, including details about their impact and status.

LogicMonitor displays all Cloud Provider Health information in a table that you can filter by properties such as cloud provider, event type, or impacted regions. The table visualization displays information related to current and historical cloud health events, such as the status of the event, its severity, and the regions or services impacted by the event.

Note: Cloud provider event data is available only from LogicMonitor Platform v242 or later.

Navigating Provider Health

  1. In LogicMonitor, navigate to Cloud Operations > Provider Health.
  2. In the Filter by field, select add to add any of the following filter properties to customize the table:
    • To display events related only to selected cloud providers, select “Provider.”
    • To display only the selected health event types, select “Event Type.”
    • To display health events only in selected regions, select “Impacted Regions.”
    • To display health events related only to selected resources, select “Impacted Resources.”
    • To display only Active or Closed health events, select “Status.

Notes:

  • Each filter property displays a secondary list of available properties to further filter the events list.
  • The Impacted Regions filter property displays all regions impacted by an event in the widget visualization, even if there are no active resources in a specific region.
  • If you have no active resources in an impacted region, that region may not display in dropdown menus.
  1. In the Time Range dropdown menu, select a time range up to the last year to display health events in the table.
    If selecting a Custom Range, select a start and end date to customize the range.
  2. Select a health event from the table to view details about the event.
    A summary of the event displays with details such as severity, event type, and related resources.
  3. Select More Details to open the health event details.
    The health events page displays in a new browser tab and provides a detailed summary of the event from the provider, a table of impacted accounts associated with the event, and related resources to the event.
    You can do the following on the health events page:
    • Select View event at provider to navigate to the provider portal.
    • Select an account to view resources within the account.
    • Select View in resource explorer to navigate to the service in Resource Explorer.
