Multiportal Overview

Multiportal enables you to access multiple associated LogicMonitor portals from a central LogicMonitor portal. A Multiportal environment consists of a central portal and one or more associated portals. When Single Sign-On (SSO) is configured between the portals, you can navigate from the central portal to an associated portal without signing in separately.
Each LogicMonitor portal operates as an independent environment. Multiportal enables navigation and authentication across associated portals but does not share data or configurations between them.

General Requirements for Multiportal

To use Multiportal, you need the following:

• The Multiportal feature enabled for the applicable LogicMonitor portals
• The SAML Identity Provider functionality enabled on the central portal
• Each associated portal registered as a Service Provider on the central portal
• The central portal configured as an Identity Provider on each associated portal
• SSO enabled for the central portal’s Identity Provider configuration on each associated portal
