Review the following troubleshooting scenarios that apply to Access Groups.

Default Access Group Do Not Display

This issue occurs when you attempt to clone an existing module or create a new module. Despite having predefined default access groups configured in Settings, these groups do not automatically populate during the module creation or cloning process.

The following image displays how the default access group does not display despite having been added in the settings.

Mitigating Default Access Group Do Not Display Issue

  1. In LogicMonitor, navigate to Settings > Users and Roles.
  2. Select the Roles tab.
  3. Select your required role group and then select manage propeties icon for the role for which you want to assign the permissions.
  4. Do not make any changes and select Save.
This is a workaround to refresh the user with the assigned role.

Recommendation: Refresh the portal after saving the role.

The default access groups will display when you clone or create a new module.
