Brocade Application Delivery Controllers
Last updated on 17 March, 2023Brocade vADC loadbalancers (previously known as Riverbed SteelApp, and also as Stingray Traffic Manager, and Zeus Traffic Manager) are easy to configure but do not have a distinctive SNMP agent, or system description, and therefore cannot be automatically identified.
Thus, in order to complete the monitoring of a vADC, you must manually set the system.categories field to include the tag “Stingray.”
Edit the device in question, and add the tag “Stingray” to the system.categories property:1
Note the existing system.categories may be different from shown, depending on the type of ADC device being added.
