Supported Receivers in the LogicMonitor OpenTelemetry Collector
Last updated – 12 October, 2026
The LogicMonitor OpenTelemetry Collector supports the OpenTelemetry Collector Contrib receivers listed in the following table for metrics data type collection:
| Receiver Name | Description |
Docker Stats (docker_stats) | Collects container resource usage and operational statistics from running Docker containers using the Docker daemon API. |
Host Metrics (hostmetrics) | Collects operating system and host hardware-level performance metrics from the machine where the Collector is running. |
IIS (iis) | Collects performance and operational metrics from Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) web servers. |
Kubernetes Cluster (k8s_cluster) | Monitors the overall health and state of a Kubernetes cluster, aggregating workload and node statuses. |
Kubernetes Events (k8s_events) | Listens to events from the Kubernetes API server and converts event activity into telemetry. |
Kubernetes Objects (k8sobjects) | Watches and pulls defined Kubernetes API objects to monitor resource state, counts, and changes over time. |
Kubelet Stats (kubeletstats) | Scrapes resource utilization and status directly from the local Kubelet API on each Kubernetes node. |
MySQL (mysql) | Collects operational and performance telemetry from MySQL database instances. |
Podman (podman) | Collects resource utilization and container runtime metrics from Podman environments. |
Prometheus (prometheus) | Scrapes pull-based Prometheus metric endpoints from applications, infrastructure, and Collector self-monitoring. |
SQL Server (sqlserver) | Queries performance telemetry and system tables from Microsoft SQL Server database instances. |
Windows Performance Counters (windowsperfcounters) | Collects native Windows performance counter objects and custom performance counters from Windows hosts. |
YANG gRPC (yang_grpc) | Ingests streaming Model-Driven Telemetry (MDT) from network devices (such as Cisco IOS-XE) over gRPC dial-out streams. |
Note: The LogicMonitor OpenTelemetry Collector also supports receivers for logs and traces collection. For more information, see the OpenTelemetry Collector Contrib receivers.
