About the Collector Group Resource

You can use LogicMonitor’s REST API to programmatically manage your Collector groups. Specifically, you can:
- Get a list of Collector groups in your account
- Get information about a specific Collector group
- Add a Collector group
- Update a Collector group
- Delete a Collector group
As with all of our API calls, authentication is required.
Resource Information
URI: /setting/collectors/groups
Resource Properties: All Collector groups have the following properties.

| id | The id of the Collector Group | Integer |
| name | The name of the Collector Group | String |
| description | The description of the Collector Group | String |
| createOn | The time at which the group was created, in epoch format | Integer |
| numOfCollectors | The number of Collectors that belong to the group | Integer |
