Edwin AI Agents

Enhancement

Agents for Similar Incidents, Private Knowledge Bases, and Change Requests

You can now use the following Edwin AI agents to enhance triage, investigation, and remediation workflows with insights derived from your organization’s ServiceNow data:

  • Similar Incidents Agent—Surfaces patterns from historical incidents and receive recommendations based on proven root causes and troubleshooting actions.
  • Private Knowledge Base Agent—References your organization’s documentation to enable Edwin to generate analyses grounded in your verified processes, including relevancy scores that indicate how closely each article matches your question.
  • Change Request Agent—Identifies recent or ongoing ServiceNow change requests tied to impacted Configuration Items (CIs) so you can quickly determine whether a change contributed to an issue.

You must have the Edwin AI ServiceNow Integration (LMDX) configured to share historical and current ServiceNow data for each record type. This configuration must include the ingestion settings and trigger fields needed for LogicMonitor to receive and update all relevant records. For more information, see Installing LMDX in the product documentation.

To access this feature in LogicMonitor, navigate to the Edwin AI > Agents.

For more information, see Edwin AI Agents Overview in the product documentation.

Enhancement

Similar Insights Agent

You can now interact with related insights directly by chatting with the Edwin AI Similar Insights Agent. The Similar Insights Agent matches insights based on event names, enabling you to analyze issues more efficiently. For example, if you want to see related insights, you can ask, “Show me similar insights.” If you want to analyze frequency or patterns, you can ask, “How often does this type of issue occur?” In addition, if you want to check the typical root cause, you can ask, “What is the typical root cause analysis for similar insights?” This enables you to instantly find, analyze, and interact with related insights in a single conversational experience.

You must ensure that your Create Insight and Update Insight actions in your Alert Correlation Action Group are mapped to the ml Impacted Event Name(s) variable.

To access this feature in LogicMonitor, navigate to Edwin AI > Agent.

For more information, see Edwin AI Agents Overview and Similar Insights Agent in the product documentation.

Enhancement

Agent Response Copying

You can now copy text responses from Edwin AI agents with a single action. This enhancement enables you to quickly share summaries, troubleshooting steps, or root cause findings without manually highlighting content.

To access this feature in LogicMonitor, navigate to Edwin AI > Agents > select Copy on a Edwin AI agent response.

Resolved Issue

Fixed an issue where chart outputs from the Edwin AI Agent displayed only the first 10 rows of data. This limitation made it difficult to review and analyze larger result sets. With this fix, chart outputs from the Edwin AI Agent now display up to 200 rows of data, enabling you to explore and analyze broader datasets more effectively.

Integrations

Enhancement

Edwin AI New Relic Inbound Integration

You can now send events from New Relic to Edwin through the Events API endpoint. This enables automated event ingestion, cross-platform alert correlation, and reduced alert noise across your monitoring ecosystem. You gain a clearer operational picture by centralizing alerts from New Relic alongside data from your other tools.

The Events API endpoint in the integration service has been enhanced with Basic Authentication support to enable compatibility with New Relic’s event forwarding. This integration supports performance, availability, and infrastructure-related alerts generated within New Relic.

You must generate a new client ID and secret token and establish Basic Authentication. You must use these credentials to authenticate requests and configure New Relic to forward events to the Edwin Events API endpoint.

To generate a new client ID and secret token in Edwin AI, navigate to Settings > API Credentials > Create.
