You can add Web and Ping Checks in LogicMonitor by importing them from a file. This is useful when migrating configurations or deploying preconfigured checks across environments.

Requirements for Creating Web and Ping Checks from File using LM Uptime

To create web checks from file, you need the following:

• A user with “Manage” permission for Resources. For more information, see Resource Role Permissions.
• LM Uptime license edition
• The website import file must be a JSON format.

Creating Web and Ping Checks from File using LM Uptime

1. In LogicMonitor, navigate to Resource Tree > .
2. In the Uptime section, select From File.
3. In the Import from File modal, select Browse. 
   
   
4. Select the website you want to import. 
5. Select Import. 
   Depending on whether the imported file is for a web check or a ping check, the creation workflow displays. 
   The web or ping check is added to the resources.
