Enhancement

Manual Ansible Playbook Validation in Edwin AI

You can now manually trigger a linting process for playbooks generated under the AI Automations tab. This will update the playbook to correct any configuration mistakes or deviations from best practices to improve reliability and consistency.

To access this feature, navigate to Edwin AI and select an insight. Select the AI Automations tab, then select Lint Playbook. The linting process should begin within a few minutes.

Enhancement

Evidence and Contributing Factors Metadata for AI Investigations

Edwin AI now supports new metadata fields for Insight records for the Evidence, Contributing Factors, Log Summary, and Change Request Summary as seen in the AI Investigations sections. This enables you to customize the information included in ServiceNow incident descriptions.

This enhancement adds Log Summary and Change Request Summary metadata fields to insight records. This enables you to send these fields to an ITSM incident, and add the fields as filters and columns throughout Edwin tables in the UI.

For more information, see Edwin AI Investigations in product documentation.

Enhancement

Improved AI Log Summary Visibility in AI Investigations

The AI Log Summary section now always displays during AI Investigations, providing clearer insight into log availability. When logs can’t be summarized, you’ll see a contextual message explaining why—such as no relevant logs found, missing permissions, or logs not being configured—making it easier to understand investigation results and next steps.

To access this feature, navigate to an insight or alert and run an AI Investigation.
