Enhanced Edwin AI Investigation and Edwin AI Model Update
Edwin’s AI Investigation now includes Impact and Timeline to provide visibility into the scope and sequence of an issue. The enhancement includes providing contributing factors and supporting evidence to the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) so you can verify findings using relevant context. In addition, Remediation Steps now distinguish between Immediate Fix and Preventative Actions to support both resolution and future prevention. These improvements are amplified by the Edwin AI model upgrade to GPT-5.2, which improves reasoning consistency across generated investigation results.
To access this feature in LogicMonitor, navigate to Edwin AI > Insight Details > AI Investigation tab.

Enhanced Root Cause Analysis with LogicMonitor Log Data
Edwin AI now uses LogicMonitor log data to generate more accurate and detailed Root Cause Analyses (RCA). For each Insight, Edwin AI retrieves the available logs associated with the impacted configuration items during the alert window and analyzes relevant log events and signals that contribute to the incident. By correlating alerts with related rich log context, the RCA can identify the root cause when it is present in the logs, provides significantly more context for issue triage, and reduces the time spent manually searching, querying, and analyzing log data in LogicMonitor.
To enable log data analysis, you must have an Edwin API user with “View” permissions for Logs and Traces settings. For more information, see Logs & Traces Permissions.
