In this article
Highlights
- Feature Highlights: New collector releases.
- General Updates: Enhancements to Kubernetes monitoring and dashboards and NetScan script support for multiple groups.
- Updated Monitoring: New monitoring for Kubernetes secrets and PDBs, Microsoft Azure vault agents, Zoom sub-account utilization, and more.
Feature Highlights
GD Collector 32.002 Release
GD Collector 32.002 will be released on August 29, 2022. This collector is a patch to the previously released GD Collector 32.001. For more information, see GD Collector 32.002 Release Notes.
MGD Collector 31.004 Release
MGD Collector 31.004 will be released on August 30, 2022. This collector is based on the previously released GD Collector 31.004. If you do not upgrade your collectors to this MGD version, a forced update for all collectors will be deployed on September 29, 2022. For more information, see MGD Collector 31.004 Release Notes.
General Updates
Integrations
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue with the Microsoft Teams Integration when users received the error “Sorry there was a problem encountered with your request” when interacting with the webhook in the Microsoft Teams channel.
Kubernetes
Enhancements
- Added new Argus dashboards to display metrics available for NGINX, Pod Disruption Budgets (PDBs), and Configmaps.
- You can now monitor Kubernetes secrets and receive alerts when someone changes secret values.
- You can now monitor NGINX ingress controllers installed on your Kubernetes cluster using the new NGINX Ingress Controller module.
LM Cloud
Enhancements
- Added the following resources to the Azure Backups service monitoring: Backup Protected Items, Recovery Protected Items, PostgrSQL Flexible Server.
Bug Fixes
- Datapoints under the DataSource Microsoft_Azure_PostgreSQLFlexible sometimes displayed “No Data”. Import the latest version of the DataSource to fix this issue.
- Adding custom properties to a SaaS or Cloud account no longer causes errors.
- Zoom Room Status datasources no longer display gaps or empty data.
LM Logs
Bug Fixes
- In certain cases, querying historical logs did not return all results.
Known Issues
- Alert conditions will not generate alerts after you update a pipeline query. You can resave the alert condition to re-enable alert generation.
NetScan
Enhancements
- Enhanced Script NetScans now support multiple groups and updated device details.
Tracing
Enhancements
- To reduce storage space and query processing time, we now store only resource tags which are used for resource reconciliation, instead of all resource tags.
- Added the ability to disable the creation of operation instances and metrics so that you can tune the data to fix performance issues. By default, operation instance creation is enabled.
LogicModule Releases
New and updated LogicModules are available for you to import from the LogicMonitor Public Repository. This section lists the LogicModules that are new in this release, updated in this release, or will be removed in a future release. Changes related to the LogicModule feature will be listed under General Updates.
New LogicModules
LogicModule Name | Details |

Looking Ahead
In this section, you will find announcements about upcoming beta features, updates about ongoing beta features, and information about the end-of-life of existing features.
New UI Preview for Resources and Reports
We are in the process of rolling out a new user experience (UX) for the Resources and Reports pages in your LogicMonitor portal. The new UX is designed to streamline workflows, reduce clicks, and includes new features. Once released, you can enable the new UX using a toggle that is available on each of the pages. This New UI Preview toggle allows you to switch between the current and new versions of the user interface.
We will maintain this preview toggle while we monitor usage and gather your feedback. We will provide more information before we remove the toggle and transition completely to the new UX.
