LogicMonitor EA Collector 40.500 is released on August 10, 2026. It is based on EA Collector 40.400 and includes the following additional updates:
Support for ARM64 Linux Collector Installation
LogicMonitor now supports installing the Linux Collector on 64-bit ARM (ARM64/aarch64) servers. You can now install Collectors on ARM-based infrastructure such as AWS Graviton instances.
Currently, ARM64 Collector support is available only for Linux Collector and Docker Collector in the LogicMonitor portal. ARM64 Collector support is not available for Windows Collectors, Argus, and lm-collector Docker image installations.
To access this feature, navigate to Settings > Collectors > Add Collector Options > Add Collector. Select “Linux 64 – bit” from the OS dropdown menu and then select “Linux ARM 64 – bit” from the Architecture dropdown menu.
Auto-apply Predefined Configurations on Custom-size Collectors
During an upgrade, predefined configurations are now automatically applied to custom-size Collectors without requiring a manual restart from the LogicMonitor portal. Based on the configured maximum memory, the Collector is matched to the nearest predefined size, and related configuration values are updated to the Collector’s predefined configurations.
If a configuration value is already higher than the predefined value, it is not changed. For example, if the predefined value of powershell.spse.queue.size is 40:
-
If the current value is
30, it is updated to40after the upgrade. -
If the current value is
40or50, it remains unchanged after the upgrade.
Oracle JDBC Monitoring Timezone Improvements
To improve Oracle JDBC compatibility, LogicMonitor now enables timezoneAsRegion=false by default. This change helps prevent Oracle timezone-related connection errors in specific Oracle environments while maintaining compatibility with existing Oracle and non-Oracle monitoring.
SBProxy Ping Improvements
A high number of dead devices could affect SBProxy ping functionality and performance. To address these issues, LogicMonitor has made the following improvements to SBProxy ping:
-
Improved SBProxy ping stability and resource management to withstand high load
-
Optimized memory usage when monitoring multiple unreachable devices
