Enhancement

Linked Configuration Item Navigation in AI Investigation Results

You can now more easily recognize and access identified Configuration Item (CI) names in AI Investigation results. Detected CI names include direct links to the associated LogicMonitor resource pages. This enhancement enables you to quickly navigate from investigation insights to the relevant monitored resources.

To access this feature, navigate to AI Investigation results within Edwin AI and select a highlighted CI name.

For more information, see Edwin AI Investigation in product documentation.

Enhancement

Enhanced AI Investigation Root Cause Analysis Organization

Root Cause Analysis outputs in AI Investigations are now structured into the following independent sections:

  • Summary
  • Impact
  • Root Cause
  • Timeline
  • Remediation

You can map each section individually to send to ITSM incident fields (for example, as a description in ServiceNow or Jira tickets). This enhancement enables you to precisely control incident details without sharing the full root cause analysis.

For more information, see Edwin AI Investigation in product documentation.

Enhancement

Improved Log Query Handling for Restricted Log Access

Edwin AI now avoids repeated failed log queries when log access is unavailable. If a log request returns a permission-related error (for example 403), Edwin AI pauses additional log retrieval attempts for 24 hours before retrying. This enhancement reduces unnecessary API usage and rate limit consumption.

To access this feature, navigate to AI Investigations within Edwin AI and run investigations that include log retrieval workflows.

Enhancement

Expanded CI Matching for Change Requests

The Change Request Agent now identifies related Configuration Items (CIs) using additional change request fields beyond the Impacted CI field. Edwin AI searches both structured and unstructured fields, including descriptions and implementation plans, to improve correlation between change requests and affected resources. This enhancement improves change-event visibility and increases root cause analysis accuracy in environments with inconsistent CMDB or CI data.

To access this feature, navigate to Change Request ingestion settings and run AI Investigations that include change-event analysis.

For more information, see Edwin AI Investigation in product documentation.
