Feature Highlights

  • Support for SNMP Trap MIB Upload in LogicMonitor
  • Improvements to SbwinProxy Metrics Performance
  • Improvements to Admin to Non-admin Migration Script

LogicMonitor EA Collector 38.300 is released on August 28, 2025. It is based on the EA Collector 38.200 and includes the following additional updates.

Enhancement

Support for SNMP Trap MIB Upload in LogicMonitor

You can now upload MIB files for SNMP Trap log ingestion using the SNMP Trap MIBs feature in LogicMonitor. When you upload a MIB file and its dependencies, LogicMonitor automatically validates the files, and uses them for SNMP trap translation. For more information, see SNMP Trap MIBs in the product documentation.

Enhancement

Improvements to SbwinProxy Metrics Performance

Fixed an issue that prevented the metrics thread under Sbwinproxy from writing metrics to the logs\metrics.text file. As a result, the LogicMonitor_Collector_SBProxyServiceProcessStat DataSource was not updated with the latest metrics. This fix ensures that metrics are correctly written to the file and reflected in the associated DataSource.

Enhancement

Improvements to Admin to Non-admin Migration Script

As part of Windows_NonAdmin_Config.ps1 script improvements, LogicMonitor has now enabled a non-admin user to collect Windows Event logs from custom and non-standard locations.
