sudo Package Requirement for Collector Installation
To support Linux Collector installation using sudo-based approach for Docker-based Collector installation, it is now mandatory for the Collector host to install sudo package on the operating system. For Collector installation to succeed, you must install this package.
Support for OR Operator for Filters in Script, Kubernetes Pods, and Kubernetes Event Logging LogSources
Added OR
operator support for filters in Script, Kubernetes Pods and Kubernetes Event Logging LogSources. When you enable the Use OR instead of AND switch, the filters you have specified are evaluated using the OR
operator where if an event matches at least one filter, it qualifies for ingestion.
Streamlined Non-admin User Privileges for Windows_NonAdmin_Config.ps1 Script
To strengthen the security of Windows admin to non-admin migration, LogicMonitor now ensures that the non-admin user has only the necessary privileges in the Windows_NonAdmin_Config.ps1
script.
Fixed an issue where the Watchdog service failed to start when upgrading Linux Collector from GD Collector 38.001 or earlier version to EA Collector 38.100, and then further upgrading to 38.200 or later version.
