EA Collector 39.300

Feature Highlights

  • Addition of Resource Limit Validation for Linux Collectors
  • Support for Removing OID Strings from Translated SNMP Trap Messages
  • Support for Level 0 LogAlways for Event Collection

LogicMonitor EA Collector 39.300 is released on January 29, 2026. It is based on EA Collector 39.200 and includes the following additional updates:

Enhancement

Addition of Resource Limit Validation for Linux Collectors

LogicMonitor Collector now verifies resources using nofile (number of open files) and nproc (number of processes) of Linux non-root user for running LogicMonitor services. If limits are insufficient (minimum soft limit of 4096 files and hard limit of 65535 files), installation fails.

Enhancement

Support for Removing OID Strings from Translated SNMP Trap Messages

LogicMonitor has now added Enable raw OID removal switch on the SNMP Trap LogSource page and in the agent.conf settings (for trap ingestion flow through agent.conf). By default, the switch is disabled. You can enable it for the Collector to remove raw OID strings that have the corresponding readable values from SNMP trap log message.

Enhancement

Support for Level ‘0’ LogAlways for Event Collection

LogicMonitor Collector now supports level ‘0‘ that indicates LogAlways for event collection in Windows LogSource. In the Filters section, for the Include and Exclude filter type, you can now select LogAlways from the Value dropdown menu.
