The Dynamic Group Regex for resource mapping in Script LogSource enables LogicMonitor to apply regex to script messages and extract the regex group value for resource mapping. This improves script-to-resource correlation.

Windows Collectors can now protect sensitive PowerShell SPSE properties, such as passwords, with Windows DPAPI. The LogicMonitor Collector now includes the powershell.spse.dpapi.enable property in the agent.conf settings. By default, the property is set to false. You can set it to true to protect sensitive properties by using Windows DPAPI when running in SPSE.

For security updates and improvements, LogicMonitor Collector now supports the latest Amazon JAVA Corretto version 21.0.12.8.1 for Windows and Linux Collectors. It is an upgrade from version 21.0.11.10.1.

RemediationSources and DiagnosticSources on Windows Collectors could fail with an execution policy error when Group Policy sets a higher-scope policy, for example, MachinePolicy Unrestricted, even though scripts are already allowed to run. The Collector now handles this override correctly to ensure scripts run successfully.

LogicMonitor Collector upgrades the following library to apply minor security updates:

Fixed an issue that caused the Collector to remain running but stop scheduling all data collection tasks requiring a manual restart to recover. The issue occurred due to a thread deadlock in the Groovy script engine and affected EA Collector 40.400 through EA Collector 40.600.
